 KCCGA Monthly Meeting
The Kandiyohi County Corn board will have a meeting July
2nd, 2008. We
will be reviewing the Summer
Parade and festival Schedules, talk about the Aggie Open and Kandiyohi
County Fair, and cover other issues for our corn
grower members. If you have a
concern or item we should know about and discuss, please use our
Contact Us page and we will add it to our agenda. We are here for
our members!
Variety Trial Plots:
The 2008 Kandiyohi Variety Plot program is up and running!
Thanks to Zach Rada for all his great work on getting the plots together
and seed distributed. In all, we have 4 corn plots and 6 soybean plots
spread all over Kandiyohi County. Please contact these growers if you
have any questions on their plot or if you would like to see it during
the growing season.
The Growers are as follows:
Corn: Mike Hauser, Ron & Paul Swenson, Jim Ahrenholz, and Peter
Johnson
Soybeans: Steve Flann, Bruce Reuss, Paul Klienhuizen & Arlin
Zuidema, Brad Jacobson, Mike Hennes, and Chad Willis

Corn Grower member
night at Little Crow Ski Show
Minnesota Corn Growers Association members are invited to attend a
water ski show put on by the Little Crow Ski Team Friday, August
1, 7:00 p.m. The Little Crow Ski Team is a non-profit
organization that performs stunts, tricks and builds pyramids while
water skiing. The team also promotes the value of ethanol through
announcer messages throughout the show. Corn Grower member night is
free to members with the proof of their membership card. Bring the
family and enjoy a night of action at Little Crow Water Ski Show in
New London, MN.

Kandiyohi Corn Growers Participating in Local Events
The KCCGA will once again be coming to our local communities and being
part of their town festivals. Please keep a look out for our parade unit
in these wonderful communities in Kandiyohi County: Kandiyohi, Atwater,
Willmar, Spicer, Prinsburg, Blomkest, New London, Lake Lillian, Pennock,
& Raymond! We will be spreading the good word about ethanol and working
for our farmer members.
